Visit beautiful Muttontown Preserve for a day filled with equestrian activities. Pony rides for the kids and several of Long Island's own horse clubs will be providing demonstrations and exhibitions.
This event is open to the public and everyone is encouraged to stop by and visit. It will be a fun day for all!
This event is hosted by the Nassau-Suffolk Horsemen's Association and the Muttontown Horsemen's Association.
Get you and your horse ready for Cowboy Mounted Shooting. This will be a special clinic and demonstration held during the fall Scarecrow festival at Martha Clara Vineyards.

Get you and your horse ready for Cowboy Mounted Shooting.
The clinic will show you what you need to know. We explain the different organizations, rules, dress and equipment needed. Safety and handling is stressed. After orientation, we introduce the horse to the balloons and noise. By the end of the day, you will be ready to shoot your first course!
A limited amount of loaner gear will be available for participants. Contact us for details.
No experience needed - we will teach you everything you need to know. Riders should be comfortable in the saddle (we teach mounted shooting, not basic equestrian skills!)
Pre-Registration is required.
This is a VERY limited event. Please download the registration form and contact us to reserve your spot.
Current Island Long Riders members are invited to attend this event and help out/practice. Contact "El Jefe" for details.

2010 has been a busy year with clinics, practices and matches and demos. There is still time to get in on the action - check our events page for details. We can also come to your barn to run a clinic and get new riders/new horses trained for the game. Contact us for details.
